Life of Swami Devikanand
In 1972, on the day of Naga Panchami, Swami Devikanand alias, Hanumantha (Childhood name) was born to Shri Chandrashekar and Nagamma, in the district of Vijayapura (Karnataka), a village called Beeraladinni of Basavana Bagewadi, which is also the birthplace of Jagajyoti Basaveshwara. During his birth, the room was marked with unexplained phenomena where his parents witnessed a Cobra raising its hood on the infant’s head and a room filled with bright illumination.

Swami Devikanand Foundation(SDF) originated in a remote location in Karnataka and slowly spreads its wings across India with major locations at Bangalore, Mumbai, and Gangavathi with the blessing of His Holiness Swami Devikanand through his sadhanaas and tapas. He propagates the message every soul is divine and strongly adheres to ``Samstha Lokha Sukhino Bhavantu``.
